Han Bi-ya attended Seungeui Girls’ High School (sungyiyeojagodeunghaggyo) in Seoul. She completed her graduate studies at the University of Utah and studied English literature at Hongik University. She studied 2009 at Tufts University’s Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy.

After publishing “March to the World, Off the Map”, she began public lecture activities. In 2012, she was appointed as a visiting professor at the Graduate School of International Studies at Ewha Womans University.
