Haidar Hadi is one of the most popular and richest Diplomat who was born on July 27, 1970 in Baghdad, Baghdad Governorate, Iraq. Haidar was born in Baghdad (Iraq) on 27 July 1970 to a working-class Iraqi couple. His parents were originally from Najaf in south-central Iraq. His father, Mansour Hadi al-Athari, is a veteran of the military. He served in the Iraqi Army during the Iran-Iraq War. He is now a businessman with a base in Baghdad and Amman in Jordan. Haidar is his only child. Haidar was born in Baghdad and attended elementary and high school in Baghdad.

Haidar and his family relocated to Amman in 2005. Soon after arriving in Jordan, they moved into their new apartment in Abdoun.

In 2006, Haidar moved back to Iraq after 15 years which he spent mainly in England and Jordan. In 2007, Haidar’s name was put forward as a nomination to be an Ambassador by former Prime Minister and Vice President of Iraq Ayad Allawi. In October 2009, Haidar Hadi was formally announced as an Iraqi Ambassador.

In 2007, former Iraqi Vice President and Prime Minister Ayad Allawi nominated Haidar Hadi to be an Ambassador. Following the nomination, Haidar was successfully announced as an Ambassador in October 2009.

Haidar met Maysum Hadi in 1999. They met in London, and they became close over the next few months. In 1999, they were engaged. They were married in Knightsbridge (London) on January 2, 2000.

Haidar Mansour Hadi Al-Athari, also known as Haidar Hadi (born 27 July 1970), is an Iraqi politician. He currently serves as Ambassador of the Republic of Iraq in the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan. He was born in Baghdad to a working class family. He attended school in Baghdad before moving to the United Kingdom in 1991. He graduated from the UK’s University and worked as an export manager at Canary Trading Company Limited between 1997 and 2000. He was promoted to Project Manager at Webstar PLC in 2000. After that, he moved to Jordan and then to Iraq. Since October 2009, he has been the Ambassador to Iraq. Haidar served as Ambassador to Minsk (Belarus) for five-and-a-half years, and as Ambassador to Moscow (Russia) for three years. Since 2003, when the Iraqi Embassy was closed down, Haidar was the first Iraqi ambassador to serve in Belarus. He returned to Baghdad after he left Minsk. He was part of many delegations that visited countries like South Korea and Egypt during his time in Baghdad. Haidar arrived in Moscow in December 2016 to start his second term as Ambassador. This lasted for three years until he was transferred to Amman (Jordan). Haidar was directly involved in the establishment of two destinations for Iraqi Airways: Minsk, Moscow and Baghdad. As a result, regular scheduled flights are available between Baghdad, Europe and these two cities. He was named a Distinguished Fellow at New Westminster College, British Columbia, Canada, in October 2014. Haidar was awarded an Honorary Doctorate Diploma by Adyghe State University in May 2018. Ulyanovsk State Technical University honoured Haidar with the title of Honorary Professor in November 2018.

Haidar graduated from University and worked as an export manager at Canary Trading Company Limited between 1997 and 2000. He was appointed Project Manager at Webstar PLC in 2000. Both of these positions were located in London where he spent many years. Haidar and his wife lived in Harrow while he worked in London. Haidar’s eldest son, his son, was also born in Harrow at Northwick Park Hospital in the late 2000s. They all lived there until 2005 when they moved to Jordan.

Haidar attended university in England where he studied Business Administration. After graduating, Haidar moved to London for his job and remained in London until 2005.
