Habibur Rahman is one of the most popular and richest Police Officer who was born on January 1, 1967 in Gopalganj District, Bangladesh. Rahman was born 22 April 1967 in Chandra Dighalia District, East Pakistan, Pakistan. Rahman received his primary education at Govt. Mollapara Primary School. Rahman received a masters and an honors degree from the Institute of Education and Research of University of Dhaka. He was later admitted to the Bangladesh Civil Service Examination.

In 2017, he also established the Uttaran Foundation. Although it is still inactive, it was founded in 2017. Habib also founded a boutique called “Uttaran Fashion” to help the less fortunate.

He is now General Secretary of Bangladesh Kabaddi Federation. On 29 August 2018, he was elected Vice-President of the Bangladesh Kabaddi Federation. Habib is the producer of ‘Deep Bay of Bengal’, a Bengali language Bangladeshi movie based on ecological life on water, especially pollution of ecological system of the Bay of Bengal.

More than 50 thousands of Savar’s Bede (snake charmer) people’s life was changed by Habib. When he was the superintendent of police (SP) of Dhaka district, he took steps to bring them in proper life and not to do any job by which they are neglected by society, And still now helping them to overcome. He started building roads, mosques, Eidgah, and schools for trans women and water gypsies of Porabari, Kalyanpur and Baktarpur areas of Savar upazila under Dhaka district. He provided funding for the marriage ceremony for destitute couple in 2018.

Rahman was appointed Assistant Superintendent of Police in Bangladesh Police after passing the 17th BCS Examination. He completed a year of basic training at the Bangladesh Police Academy, Sardah Rajshahi, and he was eligible to enter professional policing. He was the Superintendent of Police for Dhaka District Police. He was promoted to Additional DIG of Personnel Management-1 at Police Headquarter in Fulbaria on 24 February 2016. He was the Additional DIG for Personnel Management-1 at Police Headquarter Fulbaria, Dhaka. He was the DIG of Admin & Discipline in police Headquarters Dhaka.
