Habib Mousa’s 1986 album, “Ninwe”, and “Marli O Nahro”, featured the classics “Marli O Nahro”, and “Rghush Men Shentho”. This was the first Aramean-singing album to be recorded in Istanbul. He released two albums in 1990 and 1995, all of which were composed entirely by him.

1968 was the beginning of his official musical career. His first song, Shamo Mar, was recorded in Qamishlo. Habib Mousa, a 1969 Assyrian composer, moved to Beirut. He later played a significant role in the spread of modern Assyrian folk songs. He met Nuri Iskandar in Beirut, where they recorded 4 songs together (45 R.P.M). O Habibo, Lo Tehfukh, Takh Roqdina w Shawrina, Lebi Krihoyo. This was my first step towards a successful career. I recorded 5 more songs with NuriIskandar in 1972. These songs are still very popular.
Mousa was born in Syria in Al-Malikiyah and grew up in Qamishlo in Syria, where he attended the Syriac school. He was a fan of church music since childhood. This made him a deacon. He was a great source of inspiration and music. Habib Mousa fled Lebanon in 1977 and immigrated to Sweden. He continued his musical career with many live performances and recordings in Sweden.
