Ha Tae-kwon, Korean: hataegweon; Hanja: He Tai Qan; born 30 April 1975), is a South Korean badminton player. Ha was born in Jeonju in Jeollabuk-do and began his badminton career at the age of five after Kim Dong-moon recommended it to him in elementary school. In 1992, he made his international debut and won the 1995 Canada Open Grand Prix title. Ha competed three times in Olympic Games, in 2000, and 2004. He won a bronze medal 2000 and a medal in 2004, respectively.
Athens 2004: Ha participated in the men’s singles with Kim Dongmoon, who was third seeded. They were given a bye in round one and beat Robert Mateusiak/Michal logosz from Poland in round two. Ha and Kim defeated Zheng Bo/Sang Yang from China in the quarterfinals 15-7, 15-11. They defeated Eng Hian/Flandy Lipele of Indonesia 15-8 and 15-2, and beat Yoo Yongsung and Yoo Yongsung to win the gold medal.
Ha graduated from the Wonkwang University. In 2008, he was coach of the national team, and in October of the same year he became the coach of Samsung Electro-Mechanics.
Ha was able to compete in two events in Sydney 2000. Chung Jaehee and Ha teamed up in mixed doubles. They beat Vladislav Druzchenko/Viktoriya Elvtushenko in the first round. However, they lost to eventual silver medalists Trikus Hyanto/Minarti Timothyur of Indonesia. He teamed up with Kim Dongmoon in the men’s duos. They won the first round bye, beating Yap Kim Hock/Cheah Soon kit of Malaysia and Ricky Subagja/Rexymainaky of Indonesia in second and quarterfinals. In the semifinals, they lost to Tony Gunawan/Candra WIjaya of Indonesia and won a bronze-medal match against Choong Tan Fook/Lee Wan Wah from Malaysia.

They were defeated in straight games by Yap Kim Hock/Cheah Soon K, a Malaysian couple.
