Gus Mackay is one of the most popular and richest Cricketer who was born on June 13, 1967 in Harare, Harare Province, Zimbabwe. Angus James Mackay (born 13 June 1967 in Salisbury and is now Harare) serves as the head for Cricket Scotland.
Between 2008 and 2010, Mackay was the director of the Managing Board from 2008 to 2010. Mackay was the Managing Director of Cricket of Surrey.
He served as managing director of the Premiership Rugby team Worcester Warriors between 2017 and 2019. It was announced on 3 October 2019 that he will take up a new role as chief executive of Cricket Scotland.

Gus Mackay played for Zimbabwe Colts in England in 1984. He then joined Zimbabwe Schools. In 1986, he was one year in Essex before being unable to play due to an ankle injury which was severe He then joined English Midlands club teams Barnt Green and West Bromwich. He made his debut in the first team in 1998 and 1999 at 31 years old.
Mackay received a call-up to the Zimbabwe one-day team, which played in Australia in 2000-01 and New Zealand in 2000-01. Mackay played three ODIs for Zimbabwe in 2001, as seam bowler.
In 2011 Mackay was appointed the CEO of the Harlequins RL.
