Gustav “Gus” Hansen (born 13 February 1974) is an Danish professional professional from Copenhagen, Denmark who has been living in Monaco since 2003. In his career in poker, Hansen has won three World Poker Tour open titles and one WSOP bracelet as well as in 2007, the Aussie Millions main event, and was the season-one finalist of the Poker Superstars Invitational Tournament. Before he began playing professionally at the age of 1997 Hansen had already been a world-class backgammon player as well as an amateur tennis champion.
