Gregory John “Bluey” Brazel (born 17 November 1954) is a convict Australian serial murderer, arsonist and armed robber, currently serving three lives sentences following the killings sexually active sex employees Sharon Taylor and Roslyn Hayward in 1990, as well as killing of Mordialloc owner of a hardware store Mildred Hanmer in an Armed robbery in 1982, and he confessed to the crime 18 years afterward.
In the time period from March 1983 through August 2000, Brazel was found guilty of 37 offenses from 15 court appearances. In 1992, the crimes were committed in the period that Brazel was in jail aside from the 2005 conviction for murder that occurred in 1982.
On 28 May 1990, while on early release from prison, Brazel murdered sex worker Sharon Taylor. Her body was found in a shallow grave at Barongarook, Victoria, south of Colac on 23 September 1990.
Brazel has continued to regularly offend while imprisoned and is often described as being manipulative and violent. In November 1991, Brazel took a staff member hostage while imprisoned at the HM Melbourne Assessment Prison when he learned of his impending transfer to HM Prison Pentridge.
Mildred Teresa Hanmer killed by a bullet in her chest September 20th, 1982, during an armed robbery in Her Mordialloc Hardware and Gift shop. She later passed away within the Alfred Hospital from her injuries. Her murder was unsolved until the end of August.

The year was 1976. Brazel was able to hold five of the hostages in an army medical exercises for the corps in Healesville. There were shots fired before Brazel was convinced to let the hostages go. He was later disgracefully discharged.
On 13 September 1990, Brazel murdered sex worker Roslyn Hayward at Sorrento. Her body was not discovered until 1 October 1990.
