Gregg Steven Blundell (born 3 October 1977 in Liverpool, England) is a former English footballer who was striker. He is currently a physiotherapist at Liverpool Before the appointment to Tranmere He was also a professional footballer and working as the club’s physiotherapist in Barrow AFC in the Conference National.

He was back with his the former manager Dave Penney at Darlington. The goals, however, did not appear throughout the remainder of the season. However, Blundell did score an injury-time penalty goal to equalize the return trip back to Chester in April 2007. Aside from a loan stint at Accrington Stanley, Blundell remained at Darlington until the summer of 2009 , when the club was recalled to Chester who was just relegated to the Conference National. Blundell stayed just a half a season with Chester, scoring three goals in eighteen league games, before moving to Barrow AFC on loan as Chester looked to cut costs. With Chester unable to pay their players, Blundell left in January 2010, signing permanently with Barrow.

Blundell got recruited to Chester City from Doncaster Rovers for a record fee on July 5, 2005 (reputedly PS105,000). He quickly made an effect in Chester and scored six goals by the close of September 2005, as Chester tried to get promoted to Football League Two. However, his season would be ruined by an injury suffered against Rochdale on the 7th of October, 2005. After missing three months because of injury, just one goal was achieved prior to the close in the campaign. Blundell’s confidence had not completely restored in the next season, and Chester was willing to accept a small offer to purchase Blundell from Darlington before the deadline to transfer was approaching in January 2007.

Gregg began his career as a trainee at Tranmere Rovers but was let go. Following a stint at Knowsley United, he began an impressive scoring record at Vauxhall Motors, who rose through the non-league ladder during the span of his time there. The goals continued to flow following his transfer into Football Conference club Northwich Victoria in 2001. Although he was a part of a team at the bottom of the table Blundell was a prolific scorer with a solid record.
