Gregory Kevin (Greg) O’Neill OAM (born 28 May 1962) is an Australian businessman, and currently President of the company, CEO and 20 percent owners of La Trobe Financial, one of the most diversifying wealth managers. In 2011 O’Neill was nominated as a nominee by Rainmaker Group as the 2011 Wealth Management Executive of the Year. In the year 2016, O’Neill was awarded the Financial Services CEO of the Year award from CEO Magazine Australia.
After graduating in 1983, O’Neill was employed by the US located IT Company NCR Limited as an Account Manager. After that, he was recruited from Security Permanent Building Society in Melbourne which was later owned by Advance Bank of Australia Limited and then joined La Trobe Financial in 1985 as the company’s secretary.
During the period 1992 – 2002 O’Neill was a member of the International Committee of the Mortgage Bankers Association of America (MBAA).
