Greg Mancz is one of the most popular and richest American Football Player who was born on April 23, 1992 in Cincinnati, Ohio, United States. Gregory Brian Mancz (born April 23rd in 1992) was an American center of the football team the Houston Texans of the National Football League (NFL). He played his college football at Toledo where He was a four-year starting at various positions on the offensive line. He received numerous All-American and All-MAC awards throughout the course of his career at Toledo. The season he finished his senior year, in 2014, he was awarded the Vern Smith Leadership Award, which is awarded to the most outstanding player of the MAC. Mancz was not selected during the 2014 NFL Draft and signed with the Texans soon afterward. After sustaining an injury that ended the season for Nick Martin, Mancz was the Texans center of the team throughout the entire 2016 season.
He was named as a second Team All-American from the Football Writers Association of America (FWAA). He was the sole member of the MAC to be selected for the FWAA All-American team in the year, and was only the second Toledo player selected as to an All-American following Eric Page in 2011. He also received the Vern Smith Leadership Award, which is given to the most outstanding player within the MAC. Mancz was the very first offensive lineman to receive the Vern Smith Leadership Award and the first Toledo player since Bruce Gradkowski in 2005 to be awarded the prize. Mancz was awarded First Team All-MAC and Academic All-MAC awards as well. Mancz also received Toledo soccer’s Jim Nicholson Award, which is awarded in recognition of “the player contributing the most toward the success of the team”. He was captain of the team in 2014, and later named a permanent captain.
Mancz played for the Toledo Rockets of the University of Toledo (UT) from 2011 to 2014 and started 48 games. He was redshirted in 2010.
He started the first nine games of the regular season before missing the last three games due to a knee injury. He then returned as a starter in the team’s GoDaddy Bowl victory over Arkansas State. The Rockets finished the year with a 9–4 record, including the bowl victory. The Rockets offense led the MAC in scoring offense, total offense and rushing offense in 2014.
For the 2010 class he was classified as with two stars according to Scout.com in addition to a 3 star recruit from Rivals.com. He made a commitment to Toledo in January of 2010. He also received an offer to join the Air Force Air Force and Ohio.

Mancz had a 2-year player of his Anderson High School football team in Cincinnati, Ohio. Mancz attended the 2015 NFL Combine but did not work out due to his January 2015 shoulder injury. He was rated the eighth best center in the 2015 NFL Draft by NFLDraftScout.com. Lance Zierlein of NFL.com said that “Based on Mancz’s tape and history, one would have to expect that he will find a way to succeed in the league.” Zierlein projected him as a sixth or seventh round pick. Chris Burke of SI.com projected Mancz as a mid to late fifth round pick.
