Then, in June of 2002 Lincoln was signed by Northampton Town making his league debut on the 29th October 2002 a substitute in the second half in place of Marco Gabbiadini in Northampton’s 4-0 loss at Oldham Athletic. Lincoln was with Northampton until the end of May 2004, when Lincoln was let go. Lincoln scored once during his time at Lincoln with his goal coming during a draw 1-1 against Boston United in December 2003.

In May 2007, Lincoln joined Conference South side Thurrock, moving to Aveley in December 2009.

In October 2010, Lincoln was appointed manager of Thurrock. He resigned as manager of Thurrock on 6 January 2011.

On the 6th of August, 2001, the player was a trialist with Rushden & Diamonds in their home game with West Ham United, but was let go after playing in the second half as a substitute. On 6 September , he took part as a trialist for Hull City in a reserve match with Mansfield Town, but on 14 September he was signed by Torquay United on non-contract terms alongside his former Arsenal teammate Lee Canoville. He was released from Plainmoor shortly after signing, and on the 28th of September, he signed with Swedish club Hammarby IF on trial after an endorsement from each of Freddie Ljungberg and Liam Brady who were friends from Highbury.

Lincoln began his professional career as a student at Arsenal in 1996. He won an Premier Youth League winners’ medal in 1998 before signing a professional contract in the following year. Although he was on the team in League Cup and UEFA Champions League games when the club released him from Arsenal at the close of the 2000-01 campaign, the player was yet to make his debut debut.

The month of August, 2001 saw Lincoln was signed by Torquay United with no contract as did the ex- Arsenal clubmate Lee Canoville. He was unable to make it into the first team, and he joined Stevenage Borough later that month and played for the team in the draw away from Southport on the 1st September 2001. It was to be his final first team appearance with Stevenage, lincoln joining Margate on the 20th October of 2001. He was only a single player for Margate. In November 2001, he joined Leyton Orient on trial, but was let go without signing with his current club, the Brisbane Road side

He had a trial with Barnet, but in August 2004 signed for Redbridge and joined Chelmsford City in June 2005, but in December 2005 moved to Cambridge City.
