Greg Francis (born April 4 1974 Toronto, Ontario) is the head coach of the UOIT Ridgebacks men’s basketball team and the manager of the men’s top performances at Canada Basketball. He was the previous director of coaching for the University of Waterloo Warriors men’s basketball team as well as director of coaching for the University of Alberta Golden Bears who replaced the coach Don Horwood, who manned the Bears bench for the last 26 seasons. Francis was the head coach of the Canadian junior national team, as well as the assistant head coach for the Canadian national team for senior men as well as the Canadian national basketball coach for men.

Fairfield honored his achievements in 2003, when Fairfield honored Francis into the Athletic Hall of Fame.

Francis was a player on his Canadian National men’s basketball team who finished seventh at the 2000 Summer Olympics in Sydney, Australia and fourth at the 2003 Tournament of the Americas.
