Gregori Emilio Aquino Valera (@’k in i the form ‘n’ oU’ / Spanish pronunciation [a’kino] born on the 11th of January 1978) is a former professional baseball player. He was previously a player for his team the Arizona Diamondbacks, Milwaukee Brewers, Baltimore Orioles, and Cleveland Indians.
He became a free-agent at the close of the season. He signed with Cleveland Indians Cleveland Indians in November 2008. He was a part of Indians the Indians’ spring camp in 2009, but was taken for Minor League camp on March 24 in 2009. In October 2009, Aquino was granted the right to free agency.
On June 20, 2011, Aquino signed with the Guerreros de Oaxaca of the Mexican Baseball League. He was released on July 26, 2011.
On June 7, 2011, Aquino signed with the Sultanes de Monterrey of the Mexican Baseball League. He was released on June 10, 2011.
Aquino started 2007 as a player on the Milwaukee Brewers roster, but was put as disabled on the 21st of April. He was assigned on a rehab assignment to Triple-A Nashville Sounds on a rehabilitation assignment. He was brought back to Milwaukee the 31st of August to take over Manny Parra, who was put on the list of disabled players.

Aquino was signed initially as an infielder aged 16 during 1995 with the Arizona Diamondbacks. After a year in the Diamondbacks farm system Aquino made his first major league appearance on July 2nd 2004. The year before, he was averaging the 3.06 earnings run rate across 34 games. The following season, he played two seasons playing for the Diamondbacks.
On the 14th of December 2007 Aquino was removed from waivers by Baltimore Orioles. After a disappointing performance during the beginning of 2008 the Orioles declared Aquino to be assigned on April 29. He cleared waivers before being placed in Triple-A as of the 1st day on May 1.
On January 14, 2010, Aquino signed a minor league contract with the Chicago White Sox. He became a free agent after the 2010 season.
