Grant Patterson (born 19 May 1989) is an Australian swimmer. He was a representative of Australia in the 2012 Summer Paralympics in swimming , but didn’t medal.
Patterson began competitive swimming in 2007 and began competitive swimming in. In 2009, at the Australian Open, he came first place in the 100m backstroke competition. He was the first to represent Australia during the 2009 Arafura Games where he won two gold medals as well as a bronze medal. At the 2010 Berlin International Championships, he won two gold medals and an additional silver medal. Participating in the 2010 Australian National Championships, he broke the world record for the 100m backstroke. He was a part of the Australian team in the 2010 IPC Swimming World Championships in Eindhoven, Netherlands. The 2011 Para Pan Pacific Championships He won seven medals. He was chosen to represent Australia in the 2012 Summer Olympics in swimming. He was not a medalist during the 2012 Games.
At the 2019 World Para Swimming Championships, London, he won the silver medal in the Men’s 50 m Breaststroke SB2 and bronze medal in the Men’s 150 m Individual Medley SM3.
