Graham Callanan (born 8 February 1982) is an Irish hurler who is a player in the Cork Senior Championship club Glen Rovers. He typically plays as an wing-back on the left, but can also play in midfield. Callanan was a member of the Cork senior team in hurling.
On the 9th of July, 2002 the young Callanan made his debut appearance in the Cork under-21s in a 1-15-1-14 Munster Championship semi-final defeat by Limerick. His time with the Cork under-21 team was concluded with an Munster final replay loss against Tipperary on August 3, 2003.
On 22 May 2005, Callanan made his first championship appearance as a substitute in a 2-17 to 2-15 defeat of Waterford in the Munster Championship semi-final. He was later an unused substitute when Cork defeated Tipperary by 1-21 to 1-16 to win the Munster Championship. On 11 September, Callanan won his second All-Ireland medal as a non-playing substitute when Cork defeated Galway by 1-21 to 1-16 in the All-Ireland final.
Callanan was dropped from the Cork senior team in 2006 but returned the following year. He made his last appearance for the team on 18 July 2009 when he came on as a substitute in Cork’s 1-19 to 0-15 defeat by Galway.
Callanan was a member of his time with the Glen Rovers club at a young age, and was a player in all levels at the juvenile and underage levels. He won the Cork Under-21 Hurling Championship medal at the age of 19 in 2001. Alongside the Glen’s club sister, St. Nicholas’, the player won a Cork U-21 football championship in 2003.

Callanan first appeared with Cork as a player in Cork’s minor squad on the 6th of August 2000 in a 2-17 – 1-11 All-Ireland semi-final loss to Dublin. On the 10th of September Callanan was left wing-back , when Cork was defeated 2-19 defeat to 4-10 by Galway during Galway’s All-Ireland final.
Callanan was a member of Callanan joined the Glen Rovers senior team during the 1999 Cork Championship but was an inactive substitute throughout the entire season. The first time he played in the Glen Rovers senior team on the 14th of May, 2000, in a 1-1 defeat to Erin’s Own.
Callanan made his first appearance for the Cork senior hurling team on 22 February 2004 in a 0-14 to 1-09 National Hurling League defeat of Limerick. He was a regular player during all of Cork’s eight group stage league games but failed to secure a place on the starting fifteen for the Munster Championship. On 12 September 2004, Callanan was an unused substitute when Cork defeated Kilkenny by 0-17 to 0-09 in the All-Ireland final
