Graeme Cremer is one of the most popular and richest Cricketer who was born on September 19, 1986 in Harare, Harare Province, Zimbabwe. Alexander Graeme Cremer (born 19 September 1986) is a former Zimbabwean cricketer who was Captain of the Zimbabwe national cricket team between May 2016 to March 2018. He is a leg spinner who was drafted into the Zimbabwe team at the age 18 following the departures from Paul Strang, Andy Whittall and Ray Price..

He was a part of the team in the following game with Sri Lanka and Bangladesh, frequently referred to as 12th man. His first ODI appearance was in January 2009 in Kenya and his debut ODI series was a success. He ended the series as the most prolific wicket taker taking 15 wickets in five matches, with an average 11.46.

The test series was followed by a tri-series also featuring West Indies. Under Cremer, Zimbabwe advanced to the finals of a tri-series for the first time in six years with four different results – a loss, a tie, a no-result and a win. Zimbabwe lost the finals to Sri Lanka, however.

During the first Test at Harare, Cremer took four crucial wickets in Sri Lankan first innings and while bat, also scored his maiden Test century, guiding his team to avoid follow-on. With this, He became the first Zimbabwe player and only the seventh captain to make a hundred and take four wickets in an innings of a Test. His efforts in both innings of the Test ended in vein, where they lost the match by 225 runs.During the first test,Graeme Cremer set a record for facing the most number of balls as a number 8 batsman in a test match facing 351 balls just after Wasim Akram who faced 363 balls as number 8 batsman in a single test. However, Cremer was awarded man of the match for his all-round performance in the match. Zimbabwe lost this series 0–2.

Cremer was then a Test player with South Africa and New Zealand. However, Cremer, who was regarded in the eyes of many to be a specialist in Test cricket was not given the chance to play after Zimbabwe’s self-imposed exile from test cricket. After a number of years of being on the fringes of Zimbabwe’s national team Cremer eventually made it into the limited overs team with the West Indies in late 2007. However, Zimbabwe’s spin attack featuring Ray Price and Prosper Utseya resulted in him not getting any time in the game. It was only at that Al Barakah Cup Twenty20 tournament in Canada that Cremer was finally allowed an opportunity with the shorter form and he made the most out of it by grabbing 2/10 of the three overs he played.
