Gianluca Mancini (Italian pronunciation: [dZan’lu’ka Man’tSi:niborn on 17 April in 1996) is an Italian footballer who is a defense player in the Serie A club Roma and the Italy national team.
Following a brief trip back to Florence after which the club was eliminating the counter-option. On August 1, 2016, Fiorentina declared that it had transferred Mancini to Perugia in full for no cost. Later, it was revealed that Fiorentina was entitled to a receive a 50% transfer fee in the future.
In January 2017, Mancini and Alessandro Santopadre, son of Massimiliano Santopadre, chairman of Perugia, were signed by Atalanta for €200,000 and €1 million transfer fees respectively. They were immediately loaned back to Perugia from Atalanta. The deal was later accused by the prosecutor as a manipulation of transfer fees, which overstated the price-tag of Santopadre and understated Mancini. The chairman and both clubs were acquitted of any wrongdoing in July 2018.
On 4 February 2018, he scored his first goal in a 1–0 for Atalanta against Chievo in Serie A.
Mancini quit for Perugia to be loaned in the middle of 2015, and had the option of buying. Mancini made his debut as a professional during Perugia’s Serie B for Perugia on 11 September, 2015 in the game against Pescara.
