On July 12, 2012 Corradini got the position of assistant coach in Watford under the new Watford coach Gianfranco Zola. The coach left the club in July of 2013.

On November 28, 2008 Corradini agreed to take over the head coaching position vacant in Serie D club Cuneo, which allowed Cuneo to avoid from relegation at the close in the season 2008/09. He left Cuneo in June 2009.

Corradini began his career in the city of his birth, Sassuolo and then moved towards Genoa after 1978. He then moved to Genoa and Reggiana in the year 1980. From 1982 until 1988, Corradini was a player for Torino. From 1988 onwards, the player resigned from the granata for Napoli and took home the Serie A championship title in 1990 as well as winning a UEFA Cup in 1989 and the Italian Super Cup in 1990. He decided to stop playing football in 1994.

After his retirement from football, Corradini was appointed a youth coach. He was hired by Juventus in 1999. In 2004, Corradini was appointed Fabio Capello’s initial assistant coach. After Capello’s departure, Capello the coach was appointed alongside the new director Didier Deschamps to coach this season’s Serie B debut season for the bianconeri. Then, in the month of May 2007, after the squabbles between Deschamps’ and the club’s management, which forced the Frenchman to quit his position, Corradini was appointed caretaker coach of Juventus for the final two games of the season and with Juventus already named Serie B champions. In his press conference for the first time Corradini introduced himself as the “little Mourinho” because he had worked for and learned from many top football coaches. As Juventus as caretaker coach, Corradini did not achieve any points in the league, and Juventus losing to the relegation-fighting sides Bari as well as Spezia. On the day prior to the final game, which ended 3-1 at home to Spezia He announced that the decision to leave Juventus and cited his desire to seek a permanent head coaching job. On June 24, 2007, the announcement was made that he would be the new head coach at Serie C1 club Venezia. He was fired two months later, on the 30th of August, following an away defeat of 2-1 in a match against Cremonese on the 2nd Serie C1 league matchday.
