Gevorg Ghazaryan is one of the most popular and richest Association Football Player who was born on April 5, 1988 in Yerevan, Armenia. Gevorg Ghazaryan (Armenian: Geworg Ghazaryan born on 5 April 1988) is an Armenian professional footballer. He primarily plays in the midfield position as well as in the at the front. Ghazaryan is part of the Armenian national team, and is currently playing within the Cypriot First Division for AEL Limassol. Ghazaryan has played in 65 international games and scored 11 goals from the start of his career on the 14th of January 2007. He was previously a player in the Greek Super League clubs Olympiacos and Kerkyra and, before that, played for Pyunik F.C. as well as the youth teams of Pyunik. Ghazaryan is among the most prominent footballers who are of Armenian origin.

In 2007 Ghazaryan was a player in Pyunik in the first stage of Armenian Premier League Then, he was loaned with FC Banants for the interests of the Armenian youth team. At the start of his first match, Ghazaryan scored a hat- trick. After having played in the second game for Banants after which he returned to Pyunik. Every year , as they progress, they realize their potential of their players and work to improve their abilities. In 2010 Ghazaryan achieved a new, more affluent level of support in his playing experience. He scored for two hat-tricks as well as scoring twice during the Armenia Cup final. As Ghazaryan was playing for Pyunik the club was crowned champions in Armenian Premier League in 2006, the 2007 Armenian Premier League, 2007 Armenian Premier League, 2008 Armenian Premier League, 2009 Armenian Premier League and 2010 Armenian Premier League, the 2009 Armenian Cup and 2010 Armenian Cup and the 2006 Armenian Supercup, 2007 Armenian Supercup and the 2009 Armenian Supercup.

On 10 January 2011, it was reported that Ghazaryan went to the preseason camp with FC Kuban Krasnodar.

The 2004 Armenian Premier League season, Ghazaryan was part of his youth club FC Pyunik, performing in the First League. In the following season, he made his debut in the first team for the senior players. On July 6, 2005 Ghazaryan arrived at the Lernagorts Stadium against the same direction, and was replaced at half-time by Aghvan Mkrtchyan. The first time he scored for the club came in the next season. On the 24th of May, 2006 during a match with Shirak FC, Ghazaryan entered the field in the 55th minute and, within five minutes the goal was scored. In the same game the following day, he also scored his second goal after he scored as a double (the game was won 7-0).

Ghazaryan made his debut in Ghazaryan’s debut in the Armenia U-21 youth squad in the qualifier fixture with San Marino held on 17 May, 2006. In the 63rd minute the game, the 18-year-old Ghazaryan took over Armen Tigranyan. This match for juniors is well-remembered by many. After winning by a score of 2-1, it transpired it was the Armenian team had an unqualified player. The team was then beaten by a regular technical defeat, 3-3. In the second match the youth team prevailed 4-1 and went on into another round. The goal scored in the final minute of the game was scored by Ghazaryan and he opened his account for goals scored by the youth team.

In June 2011, he signed a contract with Metalurh Donetsk, along with Pyunik teammate Marcos Pizzelli.

Ghazaryan continued his career in Greek Super League by signing for an undisclosed fee a two-year contract with Greek champions Olympiacos, while according to reports percentage of a possible resale lies to his agent Mino Raiola. On the 30 January 2015, Olympiacos announced the termination of Ghazaryan’s contract after half a year at the Piraeus club. It is said that his short stay at the club was ended due to an argument with Spanish coach Míchel, who sacked him from the squad. From Athens, he’d leave for another half a season at Corfu island’s PAE Kerkyra.
