Gert Lotter is one of the most popular and richest Cricketer who was born on January 3, 1993 in Windhoek, Khomas Region, Namibia. Gerhard Petrus Lotter (born 3 January 1993) is a Namibian player and a rugby union player.

He was also picked for the team representing Namibia at the high school level, and played for the team as an eighth player in the Craven Week for the Under- 18s in 2010 which was held in Welkom. He scored two goals – like he had done four years ago the previous year, in matches with Border Country Districts and Zimbabwe in their three matches during the tournament. He played at the same event in 2011 but this time in Kimberley returning to his role of hooker, and scoring an attempt during their match against Zimbabwe with a win of 55-18.

He was included in the Welwitschias squad that played in the 2016 Currie Cup qualification series in South Africa and made his debut for them by starting their opening match of the competition, a 17–32 defeat to a Free State XV in Bloemfontein.

Making his debut with the team in a match that was a mix-up against the Zimbabwe A team, Lotter made his List A debut for the team in the 2009-2010 season against Gauteng. He didn’t bowl or bat in the game.
