George Odhiambo Biography

George Odhiambo is one of the most popular and richest Association Football Player who was born on December 31, 1992 in Kenya. George was a frequent player member of the Kenya national group since 2009. He has been and has played alongside the likes of McDonald Mariga and Dennis Oliech.

After a disappointing season with Denmark, Odhiambo signed with Azam in the Tanzanian Premier League at the beginning of 2012’s season. But, he was thrown out of favor within the squad and was subsequently released from the club in July.

Having been a free agent for nearly six months, Odhiambo signed a six-month deal with the Nairobi City Stars in the Tusker Premier League on 9 January 2013.

On 7 January 2014, it was announced that Odhiambo returned to his former team Gor Mahia, signing a one-year deal.

George Odhiambo attended Thur Gem High School. He started his professional career with Gor Mahia of Kenya at the age of 16. He was a top participant for Gor Mahia and won an award of “Most Promising Player” award in 2009’s Kenyan Premier League. In the season of 2010 He was awarded with the Kenyan Premier League Player of the Year award.

Odhiambo made his debut for Shirak on 3 March against Ararat Yerevan in the Armenian Cup. Odhiambo’s first goal for Shirak came on 30 March 2013 in a 4–3 victory over Impulse in the Armenian Premier League.
