Geoffrey Paul Morris (born 3 October 1954) is an former Australian rules footballer who played in 220 games and scored 316 goals for West Adelaide in the South Australian National Football League (SANFL) between 1973 between 1973 and 1986.
Geoff Morris served as West Adelaide’s head coach between 1994 and 1995. He led West Adelaide to 8th and 5th place in his two seasons as head coach. After his time at Westies Morris was appointed assistant coach for Port Adelaide in the Australian Football League.
In the summer of 1985, just prior to the start of the season Morris suffered injuries in a motorboat accident, which caused him to suffer severe burns. Morris returned to the team late in the season of 1985 and made a few appearances on the bench during the following year, and again in 1986, but he never recovered enough to fully revive the SANFL career. After having left West Adelaide, Morris played briefly in the Northern Territory with the Wanderers Football Club.

He participated in 1979’s State of Origin Carnival in Perth which was the first National Carnival held under State of Origin regulations, and was named to be part of the All-Australian Team.
Born in the South Australian’s second most populous town, Mount Gambier, Morris was a left-footer who played most of the time in the Wing position or as an half-forward flanker. Morris was a ferocious player and was never easy to the ball. In the end, he was especially prone to injury and throughout his career, he suffered numerous injuries, including fractured legs, fractured wrist and a broken jaw. In 1983, Morris was a part of West’s premiership team that beat Sturt at the Grand Final. Morris had to recover from the injury to his hamstring before being cleared to play. To achieve this, Morris was a regular participant during Grand Final week at the Morphettville Racecourse stables using machines that were used to treat horses in an attempt to be fit enough to play. Wests Coach Neil Kerley showed faith in Morris who refused to let his coach nor teammates down and was among the best players of the team during the game. Kerley eventually took Morris off the floor in the closing quarter, when The Bloods had the game with a good advantage.
