Michael Gazzo (born 21 January 1990), known professionally as Gazzo, is an American DJ, record producer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist. Gazzo has composed songs across many different styles and for a variety of musicians, but is most well-known for his pop-influenced dance and house records. Gazzo was born living in West Caldwell, NJ, resided in Baltimore, MD from 2008-2013 and currently splits his time between his home at Los Angeles and a Hoboken, NJ apartment.

Gazzo was born in Livingston, New Jersey, initially living at Towaco, New Jersey and when he was a child, he relocated into West Caldwell, New Jersey where he started performing upright bass. After that, he switched to drums, bass guitar and guitar He played with various bands through high school and middle school. Gazzo played with Children of Bodom at what was once known as Nokia Theater (now PlayStation Theater). Gazzo has also performed the headlining gig at CBGB along with Axes for Blackwell and Axes for Blackwell, which was his band from the metal genre. Gazzo started teaching himself to produce at the age of 16 and started producing professionally in 2011, just five years later.

In 2016, Casablanca Records partnered with Jagermeister for the “Gazzo Evolution” series. Gazzo released a 4-track EP under the same name, Evolution, which was followed by a tour. Later that year, Gazzo remixed “Carol of the Bells” for Jägermeister’s Christmas themed vinyl Meister the Holidays.
