Gary Keedy (born 27 November 1974 in Sandal, West Yorkshire) is a left-hand spin bowler from Nottinghamshire. He was a part of one game in the county of Yorkshire in 1994, after having completed their cricket academy. He then moved to Lancashire. He was a part of the team from 1995 to 2012 and took more than 500 First-Class wickets. Even though he was a part of youth internationals, he’s not been a part of as a member of the national England team despite being on the team a few times. In 2011, he was a in the Lancashire team which took home the County Championship for the first time since 1950. Keedy then played one game for Surrey and another for Nottinghamshire before he retired as professional cricketer in. After completing his physiotherapy training in the University of Salford, Keedy is Nottinghamshire’s current spin bowling coach as well as assistant physiotherapist.

In 2004 Keedy was the most successful year of his career to date and took 72 Championship wickets.
