In 2002, Frederico Barbosa published, with Claudio Daniel, an anthology of contemporary Brazilian poetry called Na Virada do Seculo – Poesia of Invencao No Brasil (Landy Editora) and also released his fifth collection of poems, Cantar de amor entre the escombros which was also published by Landy. In collaboration with this publishing house the author created and edits his own collection, the Alguidar Collection. In 2004, he released A Consciencia do Zero (Lamparina) and also won his 2nd Jabuti Prize with Brasibraseiro.
In 2000, Frederico Barbosa published Cinco Seculos de Poesia – Anthology of Classic Brazilian Poetry, (Landy Editora) and Contracorrente – poems, (Iluminuras). In 2001, Frederico Barbosa published an annotaded edition of the series Ines de Castro , and O Velho do Restelo, from The Lusiadas, by Luis de Camoes (Landy Editora) and published his fourth poetry collection, Louco no Oco sem Beiras Louco no Oco sem Bias Anatomia da Depressao, by Atelie Editorial.
