In 2011 and 2012, Etoundi signed an extension to his agreement in 2011-2012 with FC St. Gallen until 2013 with an option to extend for one more year.
Following the expiration of his contract with Sochaux, Etoundi was a free player, until he signed on 10 December 2019 with the Croatian side Slaven Belupo.
The month of September was when Etoundi was released from his home club Ouragan FC to sign his first professional contract in Europe for Neuchatel Xamax. He earned his debut professional cap with the Swiss Super League on 14 February 2010 against FC Basel. On the 27th of April, 2010 Neuchatel Xamax confirmed his expiring contract was not renewed, and that he was able to leave the club.
