In May of 2010, Arcos was named manager in place of the fired Leonid Nazarenko. Despite the club in danger of relegation however, he was able to get the club to an average position by the conclusion year. On the 27th of January, he signed a new contract, but was fired on May 6.
On 15 December 2014, despite winning 13 of the first 17 matches of the campaign, Arcos was sacked; it was later revealed that his “political views” (he allegedly was a militant of PSOE) were the main reason for his dismissal.
On 22 June 2016, Arcos took over Muro CF in the fourth division, but was dismissed on 13 October. He returned to Rayo Ibense on 15 June 2017, resigning the following 10 February.
On June 23, 2009 Arcos took over as the interim manager at Luch to replace his predecessor Konstantin Yemelyanov and becoming the first Spaniard to lead a team in the country. On the 11th of August even though the club made it to the quarterfinals in the Russian Cup for the first time in his career, he returned to his previous position following his replacement by Aleksandr Pobegalov.

The family was born in Ibi, Valencian Community, Arcos began his managerial career at Pena Madridista de Ibi. In 2002, he was hired by CD Torrevieja as a fitness coach. Three years later he moved to UD Altea and was assigned the same position.
Arcos left for the US in 2006, and was named as a member of Zoran Vulic’s team of HNK Hajduk Split, as fitness coach. Following Vulic’s departure, Vulic and his staff, Arcos remained in his position as a fitness coach under Sergije Kresic, and Robert Jarni. Then, he was an assistant coach of fitness for Croatia national team, before joining Vulic in FC Luch-Energiya Vladivostok in January 2008 as a fitness trainer, with a three-year contract.
On 27 August 2011, Arcos returned to Spain and joined Alicante CF in Tercera División, as a fitness coach, an assistant manager of the main squad and the B-team, in addition to being the coordinator of the club’s youth setup. On 3 April of the following year, he was named manager of UD Rayo Ibense in the regional leagues.
