Zizzari was purchased by fellow Serie B team Reggina in a second co-ownership contract on the 16th of July, 2010 for EUR400,000, joining Ravenna manager Gianluca Atzori. The same day Emmanuel Cascione also moved from Reggina to Pescara through a co-ownership arrangement worth EUR440,000. In his average season with Reggina, Zizzari made 20 league appearances, but only half of his games. Atzori preferred Emiliano Bonazzoli and Alessio Campagnacci as starting forward. Zizzari scored his sole goal towards the end of the Season (round 39) against Varese in a 1-1 draw. The two teams Varese and Reggina were in the promotion playoff. (along along with Padova as well as Novara) Reggina was paired with Novara and was defeated by Novara because of seeding. Then Novara took the title in the tournament. Zizzari was only present for the first game as a substitute for Bonazzoli. Following the appointment from Roberto Breda on 23 June 2011, as the new coach Zizzari was also excluded from the his 2011-12 Serie B plan of Reggina. Pescara also sold the remaining 50% rights to register Zizzari Reggina on June 24 when the deadline for co-ownership was reached. market. Within the same time frame, Pescara acquired Cascione for an additional €100,000.

He was born in La Spezia, Liguria (some mentioned in Foggia, Apulia, ) Zizzari began his career in Serie D teams from Lugo, Emilia-Romagna and Brindisi, Apulia. He was named Champion of Group H during 2001 and 2002 Serie D. Zizzari was hired by another third-tier club Pescara in a co-ownership agreement of EUR300,000. Zizzari returned to his ex- Grosseto teammates Marco Sansovini and former coach Antonello Cuccureddu. Sansovini did however get a spot in the starting line-up, while Zizzari was only had 11 games, which was a reversal from the 2006-07 season. But Zizzari did have a better score of goal scoring with 3 goals and 1 goal less than Sansovini. In that season, Massimo Ganci was the team goal scorer with 8 goals. He was a substitute during promotions playoffs. He scored one goal as the team that won the playoff. In June of 2010, Pescara purchased the remaining 50% of the rights to register from Ravenna by submitting a more expensive offer (just EUR500) than Ravenna to Lega Pro, a mechanism to determine ownership after both clubs failed to come to an agreement. But Zizzari was not included within Pescara’s Serie B plan of Pescara.

On 23 July 2011 he was signed by third-tier club Siracusa in a 1-year loan. Coached by Andrea Sottil, Siracusa was the first in the winter break. However Zizzari did not found his form and the coach preferred Mohamed Fofana (who never partnered Zizzari in the formation) and Adriano Montalto as starting forwards (or as the only starting centre forward). Zizzari only made 5 starts, either as a centre forward in 4–2–3–1 formation (two times) or one of the two forwards in 4–3–1–2/4–4–2 formation at the very first of 2011–12 season (two times plus against Prato on 27 November when playmaker Mancosu rested).
