Floyd Reifer is one of the most popular and richest Cricketer who was born on July 23, 1972 in Christ Church, Barbados. Floyd Lamonte Reifer (born 23 July 1972) is a Barbadian cricketer. Reifer is left handed middle order batsman, and a right-handed medium-pace bowler.
Ten years after four Test matches, Reifer was recalled to take on his country, the West Indies on 9 July 2009. He was captain of an understrength squad that was fielded by West Indies against Bangladesh; the 15-man team comprised nine players who were uncapped and seven West Indies players made their Test debut in the first Test that was played in Kingstown, St Vincent on 9-13 July 2009. The first XI was forced to make themselves unfit due to a dispute over pay between the West Indies Cricket Board. They West Indies went on to defeat the two Test series by 2-0, as well as the three match One Day International series 3-0.
He was named as head coach for the brand new cricket team known as Combined Campuses & Colleges in 2009. He was a player-coach there. In April of 2019 He was appointed the head coach of the West Indies national cricket team.
