Firouz Karimi is one of the most popular and richest Association Football Player who was born on April 13, 1956 in Tehran, Iran. Firouz Karimi was born on 13 April 1956 in Tehran, Iran.

In May of 2013, Karimi was fired by Paykan and was replaced by Farhad Kazemi. In the following months, he was named director of Zob Ahan. The club was saved from being relegated, but Karimi left the club at the close of the season, despite having not agreed to an extension of his contract. The 6th December of 2014 was the day that Karimi became the head coach of Malavan.

He was chosen as the head coach at Pas Tehran in 1989. He managed to bring the team from the 2nd Division to the Azadegan League in the year 1990. He was successful in the 1991-92 and 1992-93 seasons. He also brought home an Asian Club Championship for the team in 1993. After that, he resigned and was appointed Sepahan the head coach in the following season. He was fired at the end of 1994 by Sepahan. He was appointed director of Bahman and then won the Hazfi Cup a year afterward. He was hired as the the head coach at Pas in the year 1996, for one season. Following these events, Polyacryl Esfahan signed a contract with Karimi but quit after poor results. He also served as the chief coach at Tabriz located Tractor Sazi from 1998 to 1999. He became the head coach at Esteghlal Ahvaz in 1999 and managed the team until the year 2000. He was the manager of Aboomoslem for only 6 months in 2000. He was selected again to become the team’s head coach by the year 2001. He left as the head coach of Esteghlal Ahvaz in order to take over as head coach for PAS for a third time. Shahab Zanjan and Aboomoslem was his next team. He was named Rah Ahan’s the head coach on June 4, 2004. He was the head coach for the team for two seasons before being dismissed in February of 2006. He was appointed to the position of Esteghlal Ahvaz head coach in June of 2006. Following the departure of Nasser Hejazi as the head coach of Esteghlal and his appointment as the head coach at Esteghlal on November 7, 2007. The team under his leadership were 13th. This was seen as an awful performance for the team in the time of Esteghlal. He quit at the end of May, 2008 before being appointed the head coach at Saba Battery in July 2008. He was dismissed at the end of June by Saba Battery. Following that, the club resigned him to Azadegan League team Damash Gilan in July 2009 but was fired following the failure of the team to make it into the Iran Pro League in the play-off. He was named the head manager at Shahin Bushehr on the 6th of October 2011 following Hamid Derakhshan’s deportation. He guided his team Shahin into the semi-final of the 2011-2012 Hazfi Cup but, after disappointing performance in the league he was dismissed at the request of the Club. On the 27th of January, 2013, he took over as the head coach of Paykan however, his team was dropped into the Azadegan League at the conclusion of the season.
