For the 2006 season, Leggate competed in the BTCC with the same car that was powered by bio-ethanol. The car has a new sponsor of Vauxhall dealership Thurlby Motors and continued assistance by the Energy Efficient Motorsport (EEMS) program. Her best performances included three 10th place finishes. She did not race in the sixth round due to a damaged engine cylinder. Also, after missing round 8 and resigned from the series, with her replacement was Paul O’Neill for the remaining two rounds of the series.

In 2007, she again raced in the BTCC with the Kartworld team using an ex-WSR MG ZS fuelled once again with bio-ethanol. She also raced in the EERC Production S1 championship with the same MG ZR that she used in 2006.

In 2006, Leggate raced at Non-clashing Britcar Production S1 races in the MG ZR. She was once paired with MG racer Paul White in March at Silverstone and later Rob Oldaker in June at Brands Hatch. The Leggates and Oldaker were together with MG Trophy racer Ben Jacques and Italian BMW racer Umberto Nacamuli in the Silverstone 24 hour race. The car was withdrawn due to engine issues with about an hour to start. The driver also participated at the Mini Challenge, driving at Thruxton and Spa however she was unable to compete in race two because of a malfunction in the engine’s electronic components.
