His birthplace was in Tornaszentjakab in Borsod-Abauj, Zemplen County on the 2nd of October 1959. He completed his secondary education in the Secondary Technical School of Machine Industry in Miskolc in the year 1978. It was there that was also he earned the qualifications of a machine production technologist. He began working for The State Building Company in Borsod. In 1980, he began to teach as an untrained teacher at the Ragaly Primary School. After completing his mandatory military service, he pursued studies in maths and physics from 1983 and 1987. He began at the Bessenyei Gyorgy Teacher Training College in Nyiregyhaza for two years. Then he joined the Teacher Training College Faculty of Eotvos Lorand University of Budapest for two more years. The teacher was in Budapest for one year, after which he was transferred to the Rakoczi Zsigmond elementary school in Szerencs.
