Felix William “Wimpy” Fuentebella was born on the 5th of February, 1975, in Quezon City to former Speaker of the House and Congressman Arnulfo P. Fuentebella and Sagnay Municipal Mayor Evelyn Buquid.
Following the return of his father back to Congress, Wimpy served as the Chief of Staff and the Head of Legislative Staff from 2007-2010. In this period he also served as Co-chairman for the Partido Development Administration (PDA) Board. He was appointed The Housing Commissioner at the Housing and Land Use Regulatory Board (HLURB) by President Benigno Aquino, III in 2010. He was later named Vice Secretary General to the Housing and Urban Development Coordinating Council (HUDCC) in the year 2011 by Vice-President Jejomar Binay. He resigned from the position in 2012 to contest as a candidate for Congress in order to replace his dad as Representative of Partido.
Before being elected the representative of the Third District (now Fourth District) of Camarines Sur, he worked in at the home of his dad Arnulfo Fuentebella, a Political affairs officer from the year 1997 to 2000. When his father had passed his three-year limit as a congressman, he was selected to succeed his father in the Congress in 2001, at the age of 26 which made him the youngest member of the 12th Congress of the Philippines and also serving as the Assistant Speaker of the Majority Floor. He was recognized for investigating the possibility of improper use in the Judicial Development Fund and filing an impeachment case on behalf of chief justice Hilario Davide. Felix William “Wimpy” Buquid Fuentebella (born 5 February 1975) was the previous representative for the fourth (formerly the 3rd) district in the Province of Camarines Sur, which is often referred to in the region as the “Partido District”.
He attended both high and elementary schools at the Ateneo de Manila University from 1989 to 1993. He graduated with a bachelor in Science of Business Administration in the University of the Philippines in 1993-1997. He began the course of his Bachelor of Laws in the Ateneo Law School in the period 1998-2001, and was terminated soon after being elected to the position of Representative for Partido District. Partido District. Following his three- year term the student continued to study at the San Sebastian College Recoletos Institute of Law between the years 2004 to 2006. He completed his Bar Exams in 2009. Then, he was accepted into the Integrated Bar of the Philippines and The Partido Bar Association, and the Rinconada Bar Association.
He won by a close fight to actor-turned politician Aga Muhlach in the 2013 Philippine House of Representatives elections.
