Felix Healy is one of the most popular and richest Association Football Player who was born on September 27, 1955 in Northern Ireland, United Kingdom. Felix Healy (born 27 September 1955, formerly known as Patrick Joseph Healy) is an ex- Northern Ireland international footballer and musician who played for Coleraine and later became a manager for the football club. He also has worked as a pundit for the media and is currently a member in the managerial team of First Division club Finn Harps and is in charge Director of Football alongside the manager Peter Hutton.

While at Coleraine, He participated in eight European matches and scored on two distinct occasions during the UEFA Cup in September 1983 and September 1986, both against Sparta Rotterdam and FC Stahl Brandenburg.

Healy has three children; Alan, Georgina and Patrick. Patrick was a mascot for Derry City in the 1989 FAI Cup final when Felix scored the winning goal.

In October 1993 Healy returned to Coleraine as player-manager, taking over from Willie McFaul and back to Derry as manager in December 1994. In a little under four seasons in charge at the Brandywell Stadium, Healy led Derry to League and FAI Cup successes, before resigning in 1998. Healy remained outside football until becoming a surprise appointment as Finn Harps boss in May 2004. Lifting the club out of the doldrums, his first season at Finn Park saw the club promoted as champions of the First Division. However the club struggled to make an impact in the Premier League the following season and he was sacked in July 2005.

He grew as a player by playing Harps and his outstanding performances allowed him to win runners-up prizes at the League of Ireland and Tyler All-Ireland Cup. The month of October, 1978 saw English Club Port Vale paid him PS8,000 for his services. The player played for two years in Fourth Division football before returning across the Irish Sea, after being hired by the Coleraine management Victor Hunter in July 1980. His performances as a member of his team the “Bannsiders” during the 1981-82 campaign saw the club on the brink of achieving winning an Irish League and Cup double but they fell against Linfield on both sides. The loss was averted by the Ulster Footballer of the Year award and a selection into the Northern Ireland squad. His consistent form with Coleraine in the subsequent seasons earned Healy the Ulster Cup winner’s medal and another Irish Cup final appearance, but his goal was not enough to be insufficient to stop Glentoran taking the final in 1986 with the score of 2-1.
