Federico Giunti is one of the most popular and richest Association Football Player who was born on August 6, 1971 in Perugia, Italy. Federico Giunti (Italian pronunciation: [fede’ri :ko ‘dZunti]; on the 6th of August, 1971) is an Italian former footballer who later became a manager who was midfielder with the position of a deep-lying playmaker. He is currently the director for Milan Primavera.
Then, in July of 2001 Giunti joined Brescia under the direction of manager Carlo Mazzone, where he played alongside players like Roberto Baggio, Pep Guardiola, Stephen Appiah and Luca Toni and made 27 appearances at the club and scored two goals. On January 3, 2003 Giunti was also on loan at Besiktas over 18 months, which made Giunti the very first Italian player to be a part of Besiktas’ national Turkish league. He made 16 appearances and scoring a goal. Besiktas took home their 2002/03 Super Lig as well as 24 times in his second season at the club.
After Bologna lost the relegation playoffs, Giunti moved to Chievo in 2005. He made 28 appearances in his first season, helping Chievo to qualify for Europe, but just nine more the second season, before he joined Treviso on loan in January 2008. He retired in June 2008.
Giunti started his coaching career guiding the Allievi Nazionali (under-17) youth team of Perugia during the 2009–10 season. After Perugia declared bankrupt, Giunti joined Foligno as new coach of the Berretti (under-19) in July 2010. In December 2010, he was appointed head coach of Foligno, replacing dismissed boss Salvatore Matrecano, but was fired later in April 2011 due to poor results.
Parma bought Giunti during the 1997-98 season but he was an extremely difficult time at Parma, making only 13 appearances, since Giunti was usually left in the bench. In the second season of his stay with Parma and only two appearances, Giunti joined Milan in the month of January (in the form of a swap arrangement together with Giuseppe Cardone), making six appearances, and Milan took home their 1998-1999 Serie A title that season. He remained with Milan for two more seasons, albeit during an unpopular period during the history of Milan playing 24 times during each of the seasons. Three goals were scored in his Milan time; the first was scored during the UEFA Champions League against Galatasaray in 1999. The next was with Fiorentina at the time of the 2001-02 Coppa Italia, and the final in a infamous 6-0 victory against city rivals Internazionale in 2001.
