He moved from Verona in 1994, and started the first Serie B season. He later participated in Torino (Serie B) and Venezia (Serie A) before rejoining U.C. Sampdoria in the year 2000, where he would be a second goalkeeper, following Matteo Sereni (2000-01), Luca Mondini (2001-02) and Luigi Turci (2002-03).
His contract was taken over to S.S. Lazio in 2003 and played for two years in the role of Angelo Peruzzi and Sereni backup. He only played at the UEFA Cup on 4 November 2004.
