Ezio Bosso is one of the most popular and richest Composer who was born on September 13, 1971 in Turin, Piedmont, Italy. The Italian born musician was brought up to Turin the year 1971. Bosso began to learn to read, and played the piano when he was just four years old. At 14 he was the bass player for the ska/rhythm-and blues group Statuto. He later shifted his focus to classical music and performed as a double bassist in orchestras such as that of the Vienna Chamber Orchestra and the Chamber Orchestra of Europe. Bosso then resigned from popular music to become an orchestral conductor as well as a classical composer. He studied conducting and composition in the Wiener Musikakademie. He composed the music for Gianluca Maria Tavarelli’s Un amore (1999) and Gabriele Salvatores’ Io non ho paura (2003).
In 2016, Bosso’s compositions were employed for the Royal Ballet for Christopher Wheeldon’s Within the Golden Hour, that was the first time it was presented by San Francisco Ballet. He also performed for La Scala in Milan and La Fenice in Venice, and was also given commissions by The Vienna State Opera, New York City Ballet as well as the Bolshoi Theatre in Moscow.
Bosso died in his home in Bologna on 15 May 2020 at the age of 48 after a long struggle with his illness.
On October 30, 2015, Bosso released his debut solo studio album called the 12th Room [it] .
