Ezequiel Mosquera Miguel (born on 19th November, 1975) is a Spanish former road cyclist. He was in the top 5 places of the Vuelta a Espana in all races, and placed second in 2010 after putting in a spirited time trial, and winning the penultimate stage of Bola of the Mundo. After finding positive for hydroxyethyl starch during this race, the rider was banned from the UCI and his performance for the race of 2010 Vuelta were canceled.
Following that the signing, he was signed by Vacansoleil DCM to ride for them in the year 2011.
The team Vacansoleil-DCM he joined refused to let him race while he was being investigated. In April of 2011 the Union Cycliste Internationale sent his dossier to Spanish cycling authorities. They started an investigation of their own in July and then removed Mosquera at the end of November. The suspension lasted for two years, but not including the 2011 season in which Mosquera did not race. Vacansoleil-DCM terminated him when his suspension became formal.
