Even Hovland (born 14 February 1989) is an Norwegian professional footballer, who plays as a center back for Rosenborg and also for the Norway Norwegian national squad.

Hovland was selected in Norway’s team for their EURO 2012 qualification match against Cyprus on October 11, 2011, as Brede Hangeland was banned because of yellow cards. Hovland was made debut with Norway’s senior squad in a 1-1 match with Denmark on the 15th of January, 2012. On the day prior to Norway’s friendly match against Northern Ireland on 29 February 2012, Hovland was again called to Norway to replace Brede Hangeland, however due to the fact that Hovland was in a pre-season match against Molde in Spain on the same day, Hovland was dropped from the Norwegian national team squad.

On 14 June 2014, Molde announced that Hovland had signed a three-year deal with German club 1. FC Nürnberg.

On 11 September 2017, Sogndal announced that Hovland had returned to the club after having been released from Nürnberg. He had signed a deal keeping him at Sogndal until 2020.

In the course of warming up for the first game in the season 2009 with Honefoss, Hovland broke his foot and was out for nearly all of the season.
