Evangelino Nizzola Mendes Valentim (born 24 December 1984) is a Nigerian footballer who is striker. He has recently played in England for Tamworth of the Conference National side Tamworth.
Valentim was signed by Scottish First Division club Clyde by Clyde manager Colin Hendry on 21 September 2007 on terms of amateurism. Clyde took on Valentim after receiving good reports of clubs from England where he’d been involved in test periods. Valentim was then drafted into the team for the league game with Dunfermline Athletic the next day and was not a substitute. The first time he played was in the league’s 4-2 defeat against Livingston on the 29th September 2007 with only fifteen minutes remaining, and almost scoring with his first shot in the goal.
Valentim did not make an appearance in the second half of the second period in the league game against Stirling Albion on 6 October 2007 due to the loss of his shirt. Valentim only made two substitute appearances in league loss to Morton on the 20th of October 2007 as well as a Scottish Cup win over Montrose on November 24, 2007. Valentim was dismissed by his new boss John Brown after not being given a contract extension until the latter part of January. Valentim was a unemployed substitute on four times.

Valentim was unsuccessful in his trial stints in the clubs of Derby County and Metz in the year 2006. When he was at Derby County, he featured in the club’s youth team in a 3-1 loss to Boston United and reserve team in a 3-1 loss to Mansfield Town. When at Metz the two times he scored as a reserve player in the 4-2 victory over CSO Amneville.
The only goal scored by Valentim for the first team was scored during a draw of 1-1 with Queen’s Park in a closed doors friendly on the 4th of October 2007. However, he did score six goals in an under-23 team at the Reserve League Cup during his time at Broadwood including a hat-trick in the match against Raith Rovers and a brace against East Stirling. The competition was one that they won even though Valentim has been let go.
Valentim signed for the Conference National side Tamworth on 26 August 2011 after impressing whilst on trial with the club, He had been awaiting international clearance from Portugal, and once it arrived the player was named as a substitute in the 2–1 home win against York City on 8 September. Valentim made his debut for the club in the Birmingham Senior Cup first round tie against Boldmere St. Michaels. The game ended 1–0 with Valentim’s goal. Valentim made just one league appearance for Tamworth before leaving the club in October 2011.
