Euan McLean (born 9 January, 1986) is an Scottish footballer who was goalkeeper. He was a player in the clubs of Sunderland, Dundee United, St Johnstone and Forfar Athletic and played two times with Scotland’s under-21 team. When the loan transfer window closed at the end of last week in Scotland, McLean signed with Forfar Athletic for the rest of the season. McLean was let go at the request of St Johnstone at the end of the 2009/10 campaign and was then signed by Forfar on the permanent basis. McLean quit professional football in the month of March in 2011 after being accepted as an officer in the police force.

As a player in the youth league at his hometown side Kilmarnock, McLean began his professional career after moving towards the South to be a part of Sunderland on July 2, 2002. The closest he got to being part of Sunderland’s Sunderland initial team the final date of the 2003-04 campaign when the team was not able to use him as a player at Burnley. In the beginning of the next season, he still at Sunderland and was assigned an official number for the squad, however after being relegated to a fifth-choice goalie, the team was released soon after the start of the season.
