Following their triumph in the 2013 United States Women’s Curling Championship, Brown and her team were able to compete in the 2014 United States Olympic Curling Trials. They placed first in the round-robin standings and beat Allison Pottinger in a best-of-three final of the series to earn the spot to the Olympics.
Brown’s team won the United States Women’s Curling Championship in back-to- back years in 2015 and 2016. At the 2016 World Women’s Curling Championship they finished in 6th place. In June 2016 Brown announced her retirement from competitive curling.
Brown participated in her first US Olympic Trials, finishing fourth in the round-robin part of the competition. In the 3 against. 4 playoff, she took on her former skipper Patti Lank, but lost.

At the age of 15, Brown represent the United States in the 1988 Winter Olympics when curling was an Olympic event. Brown was a third player in the squad, coached by Lisa Schoeneberg, and the team placed fifth. Brown was a success in his junior career and represented his country in the United States at six (1988 1989, 1989, 1991 1992 1993 1993,) World Junior Curling Championships with silver medals for 1992, and 1994, and bronze in 1993.
Brown has been a part of sixteen numerous United States National Championships, beginning with a second place finish in 1991. In 1995, she won her first national championships . She went on to compete at the 1995 Brandon World Championships where her team finished fifth with a record of 4-5. Her subsequent trip to the world championships was more efficient as her team picked up the silver medal in the finals behind Team Canada in 1996. She won the second World Championship silver medal in 1999, becoming the third medal for the team of Patti Lank.
At the 2014 Winter Olympics, she led her American team to a 10th-place finish, with a 1–8 record.
