He was the son of a famous artist, Eric Fabian, and his mother, Gloria Apolinario Fabian, was a teacher in the grade school at his school, the Ateneo de Zamboanga. Fabian is the oldest of seven children, which includes three males and 4 girls.
The year 2001 was the time he ran, and was elected as the City Vice-Mayor. While in office in office, he was elected the Region President of Western Mindanao of the Vice-Mayors” League of the Philippines. He initiated the process of the adoption of a resolution promoting”Balikatan 02-01″ Joint military exercise RP-US (in combating against the Abu Sayyaf along with other terrorist organisations within Western Mindanao) during the quarterly gathering of the Vice-Mayors’ National Association in the Philippines.
During the 2013 elections, Fabian lost to Representative Climaco in an overwhelming margin. As the election unofficial results found that Climaco was leading by a wide margin, Fabian announced his concession and congratulates Climaco for winning the election. “I concede defeat and I would like to congratulate my dear friend Beng Climaco,” Fabian said in a press statement.
After graduation, the thrilling media world caught his attention. He was disc jockey, reporter, newscaster and a host on TV for more longer than 10 years. However, his passion for serving the Zamboanga people Zamboanga was so compelling that he made the decision to run for office in the Zamboanga City Council in 1992.
