Eric Joel Kresser (born February 6 1973) is an American professional and former college footballer who played quarterback for the National Football League (NFL) as well as the Canadian Football League (CFL) for five seasons in the 1990s and the early 2000s. Kresser played for the college team of at the University of Florida and Marshall University in the following years, and afterward professional football was his forte with the Cincinnati Bengals of the NFL as well as the Montreal Alouettes of the CFL.

Kresser received an athletic scholarship to study at an athletic scholarship at the University of Florida in Gainesville, Florida, where he was a player for Steve Spurrier’s Florida Gators football team from 1992 until 1995. As a junior during the year 1995 Kresser passed for 458 yards, and scored six touchdowns in a game to The Northern Illinois Huskies, including an 96-yard touchdown pass for Gators Wide receiver Jacquez Green.
