Eric Anthony Duncan (born December 7 1984) is an American former professional baseball second baseman , and currently the coaching the hitting team for the Miami Marlins of Major League Baseball (MLB). A highly regarded athlete in high school, Duncan was chosen by the New York Yankees in the first round of the 2003 MLB draft and quickly became one of the top potential players to be drafted in baseball. But injuries and ineffectiveness playing in minor league baseball kept Duncan from making it to MLB.
