Elnis Palomino is one of the most popular and richest Volleyball Player who was born on July 2, 1986 in San Pedro de Macorís, Dominican Republic. Elnis Palomino Castillo (born (1986-07-02 ) 2 July 1986 in San Pedro de Macoris) is a Dominican Republic male volleyball player who played with La Romana, the Dominican Club La Romana in the 2013 FIVB Club World Championship.

Palomino participated at his first FIVB Club World Championship , with his Dominican team La Romana finishing in tied seventh position. As a member of the National team Palomino took home his 2013 NORCECA Final Four Cup silver medal as well as the award for the best Server individual prize. For 2014, Palomino participated in an international team, the Dominican Local club Los Alcarrizos from the Santo Domingo provincial tournament.

With the Dominican Republic national team he lost the chance to play the 2014 World Championship, after winning the gold medal and best server in the first round, but his team lost to Puerto Rico the final qualifier round.

Palomino played for Distrito Nacional contributing to win the 2010 season Dominican Republic Volleyball League championship. He was then a part of the professional club of the Argentinian League Instituto Dr. Carlos Pellegrini for the 2010-2011 season. As a member of the National team, he was awarded the bronze medal at the 2009 Pan-American Cup and he played in the 2010 edition, and took home the bronze medal again at the 2011 cup.

Palomino was awarded to be the year’s Rookie in 2006’s Dominican Republic league, while playing for Jose Marti’s Club Jose Marti. Alongside his Dominican Club Sanchez Ramirez, Palomino participated in throughout the 2009 Dominican Republic League campaign winning his bronze award.

Palomino was unable to win the bronze medal at his 2010. Central American and Caribbean Games2-3 from Mexico but he was awarded the gold medal, Mexico’s first gold medal ever.

Palomino played with Team IE from the American Professional Volleyball League in the 2016 season, ranking seventh with his team.
