Elizaveta is born on the 20th of December, 1985, in Leningrad in the family consisting of two well-known Russian actresses Mikhail Boyarsky and Larisa Luppian. The father of her is Russian and Polish descent , and her mother comes from Estonian, German, Russian and Polish origins. When she was a teenager she was a graduate of the modeling school. In secondary school , she was struggling with her studies, however over the course of the last few years she got ahead because of private coaching. As a result, Elizaveta acquired the knowledge of two different languages – English as well as German. As she was getting ready to complete her studies, Elizaveta was interested in the field of “Public relations” at the Faculty of Journalism at the Saint Petersburg State University. However, after attending the preparatory classes she was no longer interested in the area. After attending the first performance of the student theatre “On Mokhovoy” and several productions of Theatre Lensoveta, Elizaveta decided to enroll in into the Theatre Institute. The way Boyarskaya herself later on her parents didn’t stop her from this choice however they warned her “about all the hidden obstacles”.

Since 2006 she has been employed in The Maly Drama Theatre (Theatre of Europe) in St. Petersburg.

In the movie The Admiral (2008), Boyarskaya played Anna Timiryova, the beloved of Admiral Alexander Kolchak. She subsequently had roles in the films Do not Tell, Five Brides, Happy New Year, Moms!, Status: Free and Anna Karenina: Vronsky’s Story, and in the 2013 TV series Sherlock Holmes.

Elizaveta Boyarskaya married actor Maksim Matveyev in 2010. On April 7, 2012, Boyarskaya gave birth to her son.

Her first significant film role was her role as Tanya on the movie The First After God, directed by Vasily Chiginsky (2005). A different role that was significant was the one of Vera In the documentary You Will not Leave Me produced by Alla Surikova.
