In 2007, while still in theater school, Morais made his acting film debut in From Now On, directed by Catarina Ruivo (winner of the Audience Award at Rio de Janeiro Film Festival).
His father was a contractor and his mother was a restorer of antiques. His twin brother, Rafael, is an actor as well.
