Dorel Stoica (born 15 December 1978 in Drobeta-Turnu , Severin) is an Romanian footballer. He is the manager and player in the club Tractorul Cetate.

In July 13, 2013, the 34-year-old Stoica was back at Universitatea Craiova, the club in which he spent the vast majority of his time.

In his first match for Steaua, Dorel scored a goal at the Stadionul Cetate. He equalled the score in the 45th minute after Claudiu Niculescu opened the score in the 8th, Steaua won away with 2–1.

Following the disaffiliation of Universitatea Craiova, Stoica became a free agent and was signed by Dinamo Bucuresti on an agreement for two years, and was added to the list of players who played for Dinamo’s great adversaries Steaua along with Dinamo. At the end of summer 2012 Stoica was released from Dinamo with a mutually agreed upon release. He was a giant with 10 caps, scoring one goal in a game in a match against FC Vaslui. The team took home the Romanian Cup in May 2012.
